One-Minute Centering Exercise

Scripture:

Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. (Luke 13:22, NIV)

Prayer:

Jesus, You are always teaching. Please help me to become more teachable and more eager to be taught.

You are always teaching. My life is so noisy; could You help me to listen better to You? I don’t want to miss a single one of Your life-giving words.

In every one of these conversations You are in, You are always the smartest person in the room. Please give me a spirit that desires to soak up everything You say.
