We gather to worship today in a community. God created us out of Trinitarian communion. God did not say, “Let me create humans in my image.” Instead, human creation is an act of divine communion creating community:

God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, in the likeness of ourselves…” (Genesis 1:26)
