Rest Is NOT Optional

Rest is serious divine work. The activity of rest built into the core of life is doing the work of heaven.

Non-rest is hellish work. The non-stop activity that never lets the soul, mind, body, and emotional life rest is doing the work of Satan.

The precedent for rest starts at the top and works it way down to us:
