WHAT IS CHRISTIAN SPIRITUAL DIRECTION?

Christian spiritual direction is the art of helping someone find and follow the path to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

WHAT DOES A SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR DO?

A spiritual director practices several key arts:

• Holy Listening – Attuning to the deeper movements of the soul

• Companioning – Walking alongside others on their spiritual journey

• Contemplative Prayer – Helping others learn to listen to God in silence

• Spiritual Conversation – Asking powerful questions like: Where is God in this? Who is God becoming for you?

• Spiritual Formation – Supporting the growth of Christ-like transformation in others

WHAT WILL THE TRAINING INCLUDE?

This 9-month inaugral program includes four main components:

• At-home activities for personal reflection and growth

• Zoom intensives to master key concepts in Christian spirituality, spiritual awakening, and growth

• Hands-on experience in spiritual direction

• One retreat for deepening your understanding and experience

You’ll need to dedicate about 5-8 hours per month over the nine months, not including the retreat.
